I love witnessing people learn and discover things about their bodies and selves and creating a space where that learning can occur.

Bringing BMC® and Performance together

For me, embodiment is a viscerally felt sense of knowing and perception from within the body that is beyond intellect. It is knowledge that is concrete and perceptible, physically and spiritually.

When I first took a BMC® class it felt like coming home. It reflected back to me how I think and how I process. It helped me be a more verbal social human—much more aware, grounded, and able to connect intentionally between my body and mind and out into the world.

In immersive theater, where connecting to an audiences’ experience is the driving force behind the narrative, it’s even more important that the culture of storytelling and interaction design be rooted in an embodiment perspective. Here, where we can celebrate all of the wisdom that our somatic intelligence has to offer.
